Lindsworth School is planning a more active curriculum and we need your
help.
We have looked at what we are teaching pupils at the school and we want
our children to be more active and engaged. We recently ran a pilot
project using bicycles for Physical Education and we want to expand the
programme to involve other subjects, such as Science, Design, and
Citizenship, but we need more bicycles – and our budget does not stretch
to that right now.
We are keen for people to donate their old cycles to the school. If you
have a bike sitting in a shed somewhere that’s not doing you any good
and taking up space, why not donate it to us? You will be helping
special needs children get fitter and helping to ensure they are getting
an active education. We know that many of our pupils would jump at the
chance to be able to ride regularly. If you want to donate a bike all
you have to do is phone us or leave your contact details using the form
below - we will even come and pick it up from you – simple to do and a
real benefit to our community!
