Over the years, staff have built up a number of skills which they have been asked to share with other establishments and other agencies. To this end, Lindsworth Training and Consultancy (LTC) was formed, offering placements to both social work and nursing students, as well as delivering courses to staff in other schools and other authorities.
This training covers a diverse range of skills and subject matter. In the last twelve months, we have run courses on how to Handle Difficult Situations, Permissible Forms of Restraint (P.R.I.M.E. training) Why Relationships are Important, Inclusion, Anger Management, Solution Focused Therapy, Humanist Psychology, Working in Partnership with Parents and Co-working with RSWs / Learning Assistants.
As well as being one of the largest single establishment providers of social work placements in England & Wales, we also offer training to teaching personnel in both Secondary & Primary Schools, Lunchtime Supervisors, Learning Mentors and Colleges.
In addition to this, we offer consultation services to other schools and, in the past year have hosted visitors from diverse locations from China to South Africa to the Channel Islands!
Lindsworth itself has also become a valued resource as a Conference Centre.
