Physical Education
The aim of the P.E department at Lindsworth is to offer our youngsters a multitude of sporting and health enhancing opportunities in the curriculum and the extended day programme. The department has a superb range of indoor and outdoor facilities including a Fitness Suite, Swimming pool, sports hall and two Football pitches which allows us to deliver a broad and balanced programme of study.
The profile of the department within the city of Birmingham has been enhanced greatly in the previous twelve months as it has been awarded Lead Department Status for P.E (2004), Sportsmark with Distinction (2004) only 9 schools were awarded the distinction countrywide and F.A Charter Mark Status (2003).
