"Provision is outstanding and is a strength of the school."

Not our words, but the words of the Ofsted inspection team who inspected the Religious Education department in July 2002. The Head of Department has twenty-four years teaching experience and is still as committed and passionate about the subject as she was when she started teaching all those years ago.
The Birmingham Agreed Multi-Faith Syllabus which is taught in this school affords our pupils a wonderful opportunity to develop and reflect on their attitudes, values, beliefs, experiences, understanding and behaviour and those of other people.
The department further aims to challenge racism, sexism and all inequality by giving pupils the opportunity through imaginative, well resourced and excellently taught schemes of work, an appreciation of the need to exercise tolerance and understanding of people regardless of background, culture or beliefs.
We began by using a quote from our Ofsted inspection so let's end with one:

"The teacher and support assistant have established an excellent and very positive atmosphere in lessons, this results in very good response and behaviour from pupils in lessons and consequently they learn very well. "

What more need we say?
